Community Legacy Films
Our lives are lived in community.

The communities - the towns and cities we raise our families in, work and play in.

Our faith communities: our churches.

Our communities in sports, in neighborhoods, in our niches.

Telling the story of a group of people that isn't necessarily related by blood, but who has come together around a purpose or a cause, can dramatically advance the cause.

A community legacy film tells the story of people who share something special: where they've been, what they've gone through, and where they're going.

Rural & Urban Communities
What makes your town special?

What are the stories that your neighborhood has shared through the years?

What has your city overcome, and what are its plans for the future?

Municipal community films - the films that tell the story of a place on the map - are so interesting because they can draw on so many families, businesses, organizations, and historical events.

They are perfect for a town that's celebrating a milestone like a Sesquicentennial; they are a wonderful tool when funds need to be raised; they can be a tool for economic development, or just to foster community pride.

Faith Communities
Some of the most profound, meaningful, and transformative things that happen in many of our lives happen through church.

God is at work throughout the world, He is not confined to our places of worship, or to Sunday morning. But in our communities of faith, so often He does His best work.

The testimonies that come from faith communities can minister His truth, and help preserve the legacy of what He has done - sort of an Ebenezer Stone.

As a film production team deeply rooted in God and the things of God, we love partnering to help craft and tell these stories!
Affinity Communities
Is it the high school class of 1982?
Want a tremendous film to show at your reunion?

What about a sports team that had an unforgettable season?

The imagery available from a sailing club, or motocross, or hunting camp - these are all rich in stories ... and stories worth telling.

It's the power of recording the story, and then the impact of showing the film, and the experience of watching it together.

Imagine having that, and being able to share it.

The film can of course be a recruiting tool, or a fundraising tool, but it can also simply be enjoyed.

Professional Communities
We would be honored to help tell the story of what's been done among an industry.

Who are the players who have shaped your industry? What can you imagine we might be able to say and share for your next industry trade show?

We will partner with you to capture the stories well, then present them in a way that will be meaningful to help encourage the future of the industry.

Imagine a documentary about what you do, how it has changed, and who has devoted themselves to the work.
Your town. Your church. Your team. Your work.

Remembering it, sealing its story in a documentary, sharing it ... this can mean so much to everyone who is a part of that community!

Films can run from 10 minutes to full feature length (90 minutes).

The cost of a film depends on where we shoot, how many shoot locations we include, how many days we shoot, how many people are involved with the shoot, and how much post production (editing, etc) is involved.
Let's discuss your specific goals, your vision, we'll match our storytelling ability, and we can build a film and budget that works for you!
How much time does it take?

The shortest shoots that we do are about a day long. We can do multi-day and multi-location shoots as well. We can produce in several styles: journalistic, observational - but our favorite is cinematic storytelling documentaries!

We can draw from footage that you already have: current or recent footage, old archival footage in any format (VHS, 8MM, etc) or we can work with old photos and media like newspaper clippings.

It is not impossible to turn a film in less than a month, but often between pre-production planning, filming, and post-production work, we might budget 1-3 months for most projects and up to a year in some special cases.

Let's talk about yours and find out what we can do together!
